This policy explains what personal information Rishta24 collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to any service we provide through it.

1. Information we collect

• Account details — your name, email address, phone number and password.
• Profile information — date of birth, gender, height, religion, caste, marital status, education, profession, family details, hobbies, location and the photos you upload.
• Partner preferences — the criteria you set for the match you are looking for.
• Activity — profiles you view, like, shortlist or send interests to, and messages you exchange with other members.
• Technical data — IP address, browser type and session cookies needed to keep you signed in.

2. How we use it

• To create and operate your account and show your profile to other members.
• To power search, match suggestions, interests, likes and private chat.
• To moderate the service — reviewing photos, investigating reports and removing accounts that break our Terms of Service.
• To provide support when you contact us.
• To keep the service secure, including rate limiting and abuse prevention.

3. What other members can see

Members who are signed in can see your profile information, photos and partner preferences. Your email address, phone number and full postal address are never shown to other members. Contact details are exchanged only when you choose to share them in chat. You can hide your profile from search and match suggestions at any time from Settings → Profile visibility.

4. Who else we share with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the hosting and infrastructure providers that run this service on our behalf, and where we are required to by law or to protect the safety of our members.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account from Settings → Delete account, your profile, photos, messages and interests are removed. Limited records may be retained where we are legally required to keep them, or where they are needed to enforce a moderation decision.

6. Your choices

• Review and correct your information at any time from your profile pages.
• Hide your profile from search without deleting your account.
• Block or report any member from their profile page.
• Delete your account permanently from Settings.
• Request a copy of the information we hold about you by contacting us.

7. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to protect forms against cross-site request forgery. We do not use advertising cookies.

8. Children

This service is for adults seeking marriage. You must be at least 18 years old to register. We remove accounts that we believe belong to minors.

9. Security

Passwords are stored using industry-standard one-way hashing, traffic is served over HTTPS, and access to member data is restricted to the staff who need it for moderation and support. No online service can promise perfect security, so please use a strong, unique password.
